Policies

Goveia resorts Online Reservation Service does not charge any cancellation fee for rooms that have not been confirmed. However once your room has been confirmed, you are subject to the cancellation policies as explained below. It must be clearly understood that any changes in policies will always take precedent over the policy stated here. We will of course inform you clearly and completely if this is the case with your booking


BOOKINGS: 50% advance preferably by offering a credit card payment or a deposit into our bank account.
100 % advance during the peak season between Dec 20th 2010 to Jan 6th 2011.

CANCELLATIONS:
More than 30 days prior to check in: 100% refund (except 20th Dec – 6th Jan-no refund)
More than 15 days but less than 30 days prior to check in: 50% refund
More than 7 days but less than 15 days prior to check in: 25% refund.
Less than 7 days: No refund.
US $ rates are subject to change as per global currency fluctuations.
Photo ID and credit card or cash deposit are required at check in for incidental charges.

CHECK IN: 12 NOON / CHECK OUT: 11.00 AM.
No Show (Non-use of reservation) : In case you do not utilize your reservation and fail to contact us to cancel it in a stipulated time period as specified above, we would not be in a position to return you any amount pertaining to your booking. The reason for this is that the room in the resort is booked in your name, and we cannot let the room be occupied by anyone else. The room is held unoccupied, until they are notified otherwise. Thus, even if you do not show up at the resort, there shall not be any refunds.

TARIFF IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE
10 % service charge applicable.
Guests are advised to carefully see the fact-sheet before selecting a package. Once a package is selected, any change in the package is subject to management's discretion.
The double room can accommodate a maximum of three persons.

The company however reserves the right to change the meal arrangement, if the circumstances make it necessary.
If the guests misses or refrains from availing any meal arranged by the company due to his own reasons, there would be no refund.

The guest needs to make request to the hotel directly for early check in / late check out . The same is at the discretion of the resort and is subject to room availability.

The company shall not be liable to any loss or damage to the persons and property of the guests arising out of force majeure, out of his own negligence or out of the negligence of any independent contractors and their employees.

All the bookings are non-transferable without permission of the Hotel in case you change/cancel your travel plans due to any reason. Fresh booking will be done in case your family member/friends/colleagues wish to travel on that particular day/period.

All payments that happen on the Goveia Resort site are secure. We do not capture any credit or debit card details on our site. The client for all online payments is taken to the principal payment gateway site for completion of the transaction. The credit card or debit card information is not stored in any retrieval system or storage system of Goveia Resort.
